Information

Births: 1867 to present-index starting 1893. The records are restricted, and are NOT public records and can only be obtained by the individual or the parents of the individual either in person or through the mail.

An heir may apply for a copy of a birth record LESS than 100 years old if they provide; a death certificate, and a photo ID is required.

A birth record MORE than 100 years old are NOT restricted and can be requested by anyone.

Online Certified Copies of Birth Certificates

$15.00 for the first copy and $5.00 for any additional copies of the same record.

Senior rate (65+): $10.00 for the first copy and $3.00 for any additional copies of the same record.

Print out the appropriate form below, complete, sign and return with appropriate fee and photocopy of ID.

Note the following restriction on Birth Records:

Obtain Certified Birth Certificates By Telephone By Credit/Debit Card

Call: 906-482-1150 to pay by telephone. A 3% fee is added to all credit/debit card transactions by the credit card company.

Note the following restriction when ordering BIRTH RECORDS over the telephone:
