 The Airport Board meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month at 4:00PM in the Airport conference room. The Airport Board reserves the right to change the meeting day if required. |

Houghton County Building Department |

 Houghton County issues building permits for all locations of the county except the City of Houghton and the Village of Calumet.
Current codes in effect: 2003 Michigan Building; 2003 Michigan Residential; 2006 Michigan Mechanical(12/03/07); 2006 Michigan Plumbing(01/24/08); 2005 National Electrical Code(11/23/07). The 2006 Michigan Building and the 2006 Michigan Residential Codes will be effective August 1, 2008.
Any permits obtained shall conform to the above listed codes. Code books are available from our office on the fifth floor of the the County Courthouse.
