Proposed Justice Center Meetings
Presentations on the Houghton County Justice Center ballot proposal for the November election will be hosted by the League of Women Voters.
The meeting dates are:
Portage Lake District Library: Tuesday, August 24, 7pm; Wednesday, September 29, 7pm and Thursday, October 28, 7pm.
Calumet Elementary School multipurpose room Wednesday, October 6, 7pm.
Members of the Justice Center Committee will also be at the following meetings to make a presentation and/or answer questions regarding the proposed project:
Monday, August 16th, Village of Copper City regular meeting, 6:30pm, Copper City Village Hall
Wednesday, August 18th, UAW Retirees meeting, 12:30pm, Ramada Inn, Hancock
Wednesday, August 18th, City of Hancock regular meeting, 7:30pm, Hancock City Hall
Tuesday, September 2, Village of South Range regular meeting, 7:00pm, South Range Village Hall
Thursday, October 14th, Houghton Rotary monthly meeting, 12:00pm Best Western, Houghton.
Monday, October 4, Retired State Employees monthly meeting, 12:30pm, Best Western in Houghton. |
